Nocturne: The Phantom Dress
Concept & Inspiration
“Nocturne” is a dress inspired by the interplay of shadows, mysticism, and the fleeting nature of nocturnal visions. It embodies the art of phantasmagoria - a theatrical illusion technique using light, shadow, and movement to create ghostly projections.
The organza fabric behaves like a living material, draping into chaotic yet controlled waves, giving the illusion of constant motion. Its airiness contrasts with the deep, dark tones, creating an effect of both weightlessness and depth.

The silhouette is unconventional: asymmetric folds and drapery evoke a vortex of shadows, the reflection of light on water, or blurred images from a dream. The fabric has undergone heat treatment to create intricate textures, enhancing the sense of abstraction and illusion.
Meaning & Idea
“Nocturne” is a fragment of a dream materialized into fabric. It feels as though it is woven from shifting shadows and intangible emotions - things that cannot be touched but can be deeply felt. This dress is not just a garment; it is a symbol of how something ephemeral can take form.

The “Floral Coat” is a refined and elegant design that combines lightness and femininity. The pink organza as the main material gives the coat an airy feel, creating soft lines and gentle silhouettes.

This project is an exploration of new cutting techniques, shape manipulation, and construction experiments. The main goal was to go beyond traditional garment design by applying various methods to create a complex and multi - layered structure.
Each detail of my design was executed using a different technique, allowing me to study multiple approaches to form, volume, and line. The process included an analysis of innovative cutting methods, mannequin draping, dart manipulation, the creation of intricate seams, and experiments with scale and proportions.

My design practice explores the concept of strength and femininity, drawing inspiration from the French warrior and martyr, Jeanne d’Arc.
My latest collection reimagines the image of a modern strong woman, blending historical references such as armor and depictions of Joan’s combat exploits with contemporary interpretations of female empowerment. Visual inspiration for my work includes the creations of artists, writers, filmmakers, and fashion designers who celebrate the duality of women’s strength - physical and emotional.
Through my designs, I aim to highlight how today’s woman embodies resilience, confidence, and self-expression, not through literal armor but through inner strength and personal magnetism.
My collection uses metaphorical symbols of protection, combined with elegant and feminine silhouettes, to reflect the modern warrior spirit - a woman who fights for her ideals with grace, intelligence, and determination.
